BEHIND THE LENS

In my early years, I grew up traveling with my military parents. Every couple of years we would move to somewhere new and interesting, Alaska, Arizona, Michigan to name a few. Being homeschooled, we were afforded the opportunities to go out and explore the places we lived by camping often. I remember my mother and her camera. I still go through photo books and can bring myself back to those memories in my mind's eye.

Years later, as a mother myself, I want my kids to remember the places we've visited, the birthday parties we threw, the holidays, family and friends. The only way to capture these memories in time is with a camera.

After going through a period of much stress, I fell back on this hobby as an escape, a place of calm and serenity. In doing so, my eyes were opened to so much more.

There is nothing in this that I love better then to hand over a completed project for a family knowing that the memories will be viewed by generations to come.

I look forward to meeting you!
